
Liv Hunt
Liv Hunt is a theatre-maker and facilitator working predominantly in participatory arts. She began her career delivering theatre projects in care homes, schools and community centres working with people from varied backgrounds and abilities. Her practice is centred around telling, sharing and imagining new stories. She is driven by arts for social change and is a champion for inclusivity and accessibility in theatre.
In 2019, she co-founded Woven Nest Theatre, a workshop-led theatre company creating theatre with, for and by older people with Dementia.
In 2021, Liv founded TimbaDash Theatre, a multi-sensory theatre company producing immersive experiences for young people with complex and additional needs.

Helix Arts

Commissioned through Make-It-Happen programme to develop a creative programme for unpaid carers living in Newcastle and Gateshead
Lead artist on Louder, a project with Phoenix Detached Youth Association and Rape Crisis North Tyneside. I worked with the group to create a film exploring sexual violence in relationships.

roles included: to develop relationships with community groups and partner organisations in turn developing our audience to be diverse and inclusive. To design, fundraise and curate projects within the realm of community engagement. In 2018, I planned and curated the theatre’s first large-scale children’s project in partnership with The Discovery Museum and working with 16 school groups in the North East.
